WELL YOU SHOULD!!!

It's been a while since I've opened up the vault and posted a DA journal entry so I thought I'd make an update whilst there's a slight slowing of work! Dont get me wrong, I'm still heaps busy but I chucked a few things around, cancelled meetings on a couple of people and now I have provied myself with a small window of time in which to sit and write.

Life in the rock is going really well. Hopefully I'm only a couple of weeks out from getting my house! Woot woot! Yes for those not in the know I've decided to buy a place up here because I will probably be here for the next good couple of years and I think renting is ridiculous! It's dead money going nowhere! I'm happy with the place as it's just a plain house in a plain block... a blank canvas... that I can personalise in every way!

Whilst on the subject of houses and decorating, I want to give one of matt's recent pieces a bit of a plug. As anyone who has moved into an empty residence knows, the place just isn't home until it's full of memorabilia and personalised effects. I therefore am going to employ matt's photography and obviously somebody else's printing skills to have a number of large pictures made for my place. The first of which will be this one... Like it? Coz I do! People who know me know I'm a big fan of early style from the 1940's - 50's. Check out the rest of his gallery in the near future because I'm sure there will be more pieces just like this coming.

On another topic, yesterday I threw away my shackles to the rebelion against the online global village and I joined the terra-billions of people on myspace.com. As yet I am still trying to get the hang of page customisation and I will probably have to get back into the design world and start coding myself up a decent page. I can't see that happening in the immediate future however. Currently I have a few words of intro and personal info etc and a couple pictures just to get myself started. Now at the moment I bet you're all yelling 'Just give us the address?'!!! So here it is... no suprises for guessing it... [link]
